Obsessed: Quirky’s Bookish Must Have’s For March

I’m on this letter writing run now, thoroughly enjoying it and all that jazz and this is what has come from it!

Vanitha Sankaran

So we’ve got a book set in the Middle-Ages, it’s not exactly about letter writing but it is about paper, and writing and who gets to control knowledge, education, literacy and access to it.

I think that’s interesting, as education in this current age is something we take for granted a bit too much in the modern, first-world.

So give this book a shot and get some interesting historical fiction in your veins.

Wax Seal Kit

I saw this kit in Barnes and Nobles this past week when I was in NYC (for new comers, I live in The Bahamas and we have all of 3 bookstores on my island, and none feature an array of interesting books, none, I kid you not) and went a bit crazy in the indie bookstores and B+N. Ok, I went really crazy, like, had to skip lunch because I spent all my money on books kind of thing. This kit was one of the things I bought though and I don’t regret it at all, cause now my letters are going to be jazzy, sexy and AWESOME!

So, who wants to write letters now or become penpals!

Pen pals, please??? I adore writing letters! I’m really bad about remembering to write someone back immediately, but letter writing is wonderful.
